Christmas Day

Stopped by Grandpa and Laverne's house because we haven't seen them in a very long time.  They gave me a John Deere tractor ornament from Grandpa's personal collection.  That was nice.

The stopped by Grandma's house.  They were eating lunch.  I just wanted to play and look around.

Then it was off to Grandmama and Granddaddy's house.  We opened lots of presents.  Grandmother, Granddad, Great-Aunt Kathy, and Kaitlin came over for lunch and lots of fun play time.  Then we opened even more presents.  It was lots of fun, but I was poooped when it was all over.

Christmas Morning - Santa Came!

Santa knows all about me.  He must, because he brought me an ELMO toolbench!  I love anything that makes noise and has parts that I can work, especially if it has ELMO!!!!!  My Daddy got me a drum with a harmonica and some maracas (don't know if my Mommy can spell that one).  Mommy got me a vacuum because I like to clean so much.  (Daddy wasn't real thrilled about that one.)  Lots of other stuff, too.  Did you know Santa fills those socks with presents?

Vernon Christmas Eve

Christmas Eve was spent with my Grandpa and all his family.  And you know what?  Santa came to visit!  He brought me, Nate, and baby Gabe all a shiny red wagon!  Wasn't that nice?  Now how did he get there and still have time to deliver more presents to my house?

Christmas With Grammy & Kathy

I had a big Christmas last night with Aunt Kathy and Grammy.  We had lots of fun eating good food and playing with all my new toys.  I got a phonics bus, a little SUV truck, and a new Elmo.  That Elmo just laughs and laughs when you tickle him.  No wonder he's called TMX.  (Tickle Me Elmo eXtreme)

Photo Shoot

Well, today I went and had my pictures taken.  There was a big Christmas tree.  The lady even let me play with the ornaments.  My Mommy never lets me do that!

(BTW... the silly looking picture of me was when I was telling my Mommy that I had just gone pee-pee... potty chair soon?)

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

Happy Halloween!

I might not remember last year's football escapades but I carried my new football (Easter) basket around with me this year.  I was a happy little cow and loved looking at that pumpkin on our front porch.  It was fun to watch Daddy carve that pumpkin, too.  I got pumpkin guts all over me!

I Scream U Scream

Who says I can't have ice cream?  My mommy gave me this pink stuff (strawberry sorbet) which I loved as my chili chaser!   Also check out my shades!

Lebanon

I got me a new house!  It has lots of trees.  I got up to climbing them one day but decided that I would much rather be on the ground eating my rocks.

August 4-5 Moving Day!

My last day with Miss Kat was super special.  I played with PlayDough with my friends Brendan and Sydney.  I got a present and extra hugs from Miss Kat and my buddies.  Those women just cry and cry.  What's up with that?

After I got home we had fun playing with my neighbors Mia and Nicholas.  My daddy wanted to cook out and see all our neighbors before we left the next day.  I had lots of fun running around my yard.  See my house for sale?

Just an Update

I wanted to update you on all the fun, fun things I've been doing since my party.  Well, now I can walk all over the place.  I can't quite make it further than about 20 ft before losing my balance, but it's getting further and further every day.  I'm even starting to try to pick up the pace and run a little bit.

Also, I started saying "light" when I point at the lights in the ceiling.  And when I'm playing with the rocks in the landscaping I can say "rock," too.  I'm signing a little bit for things I can't say yet.  I've got the sign for "bath" down pat.  I'm still working on "eat" and "drink" signs.  We'll get them soon, or we'll get the words.

My Mommy and Daddy found me a new daycare the other day.  Instead of 5 boys and girls all under the age of 2 now I'll be with 15 kids total from 9 months to pre-kindergarten.  Actually, I'm in a preschool/daycare so I get lots of teaching.  I'll start going there after we move.  For now I'll get to play a little while longer with Ms. Kat and the other kids.

My Birthday Party!

I had my birthday party at Grandmama's and Granddaddy's house on July 8.  It was lots of fun.  Many people came to see me.  Even Nate rode all the way from Murfreesboro to play with me.  I was so happy to see him.  I just had to eat him up.  (Literally)

My Mommy had made me a special cake since the big cake had grown up ingredients (my allergies) in the mixture.  I sure did like that sweet icing.  My favorite part was getting icing all over the balloon while I was supposed to be eating my cake.  Did you know that those things will pop if you bite them?  Neither did I!  But I do now.  Oh, well.  At least I had more to play with.

I got lots of cool presents to play with.  I got lots of toys, too.  Nate and I had lots of fun playing fireman.  He just hopped right onto the back of my John Deere firetruck.  We were just looking for fires to put out.

Oh, if you are wondering why Aunt G is over by the trashcan then I'll tell you.  She's making some homemade ice cream.

Sorry the pictures are out of order.  For some reason the computer won't complete the rearrangement.

Swimming with Mommy

My Mommy and I went swimming in the big pool at Grandmama's house.  She took some pictures of me and Mommy swimming together.  I seemed to like it a whole lot better when there weren't as many people around to stare at me.  I even got in my little boat.

Well, I posted this last night, or tried to post it.  Anyway, I guess Daddy must have logged off the internet before it got finished.

I wanted to show you all pictures of my first trip to the zoo.  We went to Cincinatti to see Dr. Re and Shaun after they moved.  It was way too hot out there for me.  I was red as a lobster just from the heat.  Thankfully, none of it was sunburn.  I did get to see some cool things.  Here are some pictures of the cheetahs, gorillas, and hippos that I saw.  It was also fun to ride the carousel with Mommy.  I got a little scared by the end, though.

4th of July - My First Fireworks!

I went to the fireworks show with Mommy, Grandmama, Granddaddy, and Kaitlin.  We got there really early.  Good thing because those adults forgot our chairs.  We found a seat next to the Leprechaun as you can see.  I sure had fun playing with him and his lantern.  The firworks themselves, they were too loud and scared me a little.  I was also very tired because it was way past my bedtime.  Maybe I'll like them a little more next year.

Almost Walking!

Wow!  I'm taking fun steps toward walking.  I let go and walk to Mommy or Daddy, but only if they are not more than 2-3 steps away.  Last night I even let go and walked toward one of my toys in the floor.  I bet I'll be walking like a big boy by my party next week.  :)

1st Birthday

Happy Birthday to Me!

I had a good time with my Mommy and Daddy for my birthday.  We didn't have any kind of party.  We did go and get some family pictures made, though.  (The pictures are posted here in their un-edited form.)  Then we went and drove around for a while and looked for houses in case we end up staying here in Kentucky for Mommy a new job.

I wanted to give you and update on all the fun things I'm learning to do.  I stand by myself when I get distracted holding onto a toy or balloon.  I even take a few steps on my own before I remember that I'm too scared to keep walking.  Mommy and Daddy think this is really funny.  Most of the time I jut hold on and walk around all the furniture.  I can cruise and crawl almost faster than Mommy can catch me.

I'm feeding myself most everything now.  Mommy quit buying those baby foods because I was making too big of a mess trying to feed myself with a mushy mess.  My favorite foods are rice cakes, turkey hot dogs, sweet potatos, and plums.  I still like my bananas, apples, chicken, and green beans.  Mommy made me get rid of my bottles and Nuby cups. So now I drink most everything from a real sippy cup.  When I'm in my highchair Mommy even lets me use a "real people" cup.  I got water everywhere yesterday trying to give myself my real cup.

I've been yelling for Mommy and Daddy lately, especially if I get really mad.  Mommy thought I said "apple" yesterday.  I was just fooling her though.

I went for my first swim in the big pool last week.  I don't know if it was the size of the pool or all those people watching me, but I sure didn't like it.  Maybe I'll try again soon.

Very soon I'll have another baby cousin, another boy.  Nate and I will have lots of fun harrasing little Gabe when he gets here.

Almost My Birthday

My birthday is coming up very soon.  It's actually this Saturday!  I'll be 1 year old.  I hope you like my new pictures.

Fun Times

It's almost my birthday.  I'll be 11 months old in a few days which makes my birthday barely a month away!  Looks like my party is going to have to be a little delayed until my parents get a house in Nashville.  We're hoping for the second weekend of July.  Mom's going to get me some wish lists together and post them on the left-hand side of this page.  Keep looking.  Remember, it's just a list of things I don't have yet... just a guide.

Here's some pictures of me eating.  I loved shoving that bananba in my mouth.  It's my new favorite!

My First Pool

Daddy bought me a little pool.  I got in it for the very first time Saturday and had lots of fun.  See me play in the sun!  My Daddy's also helped me start climbing trees, again.  Remember how cute I was in the trees last July!  It's been so much fun since it's gotten warm outside.  Now if I could just get around on the grass without putting my hands in it.  I don't like that at all!

Just to let you know, I'm cruising all over the place.  I even let go for a second or two the other day.  I'll be walking before you know it!  And I've starting "talking" too.  I say Da-Da, Ga-Da, Ba-Ba.  I just haven't said the famous MaMa yet.

EASTER APPLES!

My Mommy cheated and gave me some apples for Easter!  They tasted yucky!  I think they were too sweet.  I didn't even like the juice.  But I'm eating somewhat better if you give me rice cereal or carrots.  The rice is tolerable if that's all that's there.  But the carrots are really yummy.  I gobble them up!  Here's some pictures from Sunday.

9 Month St Patty's Day

HAPPY ST. PATRICK'S DAY!

I turned 9 months old.  I had lots of fun and spent Saturday at the St. Patty's parade in Erin.  I got to see lots of friends and play in Granddaddy's truck.  There were lots of loud cars and bands.  There were also some floats and, of course, the Shriners.

Just to update you on my accomplishments I am crawling everywhere.  I can even crawl up the stairs.  (That scares Mommy, of course.)  I'm also cruising around some of the furniture and pushing my toys around in the floor.  I now have a total of 6 teeth (4 on top and 2 on bottom) with more teething happening as I write.  I'm blowing raspberry's all the time.  I'm trying to wave but don't have that down yet.  My hair is growing in much thicker.  Right now it's enough to get ruffled but not enough to cut.  I'm into my 12 month clothes and will most likely be into my 18 month clothes before the end of the summer.

2 New Cars and a Clubhouse

My Daddy and my Grandmamma got me new cars.  I ride on my daddy's and love to turn the stearing wheel.  I can push my grandmamma's.  It makes lots of noises and plays music, too.

Daddy also gave me my first clubhouse.  It's made out of the box my car came in.

I'm Home

I had to visit the  hospital again for more IV fluids.  This time my Mommy brought home a nasty GI virus that made me really sick.  When I left today I weighed 17 pounds and 8 ounces.  I know it isn't all the way back but is pretty darn close.

8 Months

I'm 8 months old, yesterday!  I decided to sneak into Daddy's backpack so I could go on a hike with him.  Do you think he'll take me?

Mommy wanted pictures of me for you to see so I thought I would just show off.  Instead of following directions I just wanted to play with the mat in the floor.  Finally I decided to look at a book, play with my blocks, crawl around on the floor, and love on my dinosaur.  It's snowing outside again.  Mommy and Daddy were supposed to make me a snowman, but they were too lazy.

TOUCHDOWN!

It's Super Bowl Sunday!  I'm having lots of fun waiting for all the activities to start.  I'm just sad it's the last big game of the year.  My Grandmama and Granddaddy came to visit in the morning and took me to lunch.  I just love the whole high chair thing.

There's a lot of snow outside!  Mommy took me out and made me a little sled.  Yes, I know it's a clothesbasket, but it was fun anyway.  (Well, for Mommy it was.  I just wanted to get out of the cold.  BRRRR!)

7 Months!

Better Late than Never!

Here are my 7 month pictures.  I love to play with my toys.  My new favorite thing is my bath.  If Mommy would let me I'd make the whole kitchen my bathtub.  I splash all the water all over the floors and countertops.  I can stand up by myself for a little while as long as there's a toy to use to pull myself up.

Party Time!

Grandmamma came to keep me while my Mommy and Daddy worked on New Year's Eve morning.  I played and played until she just couldn't leave.  That meant my Mommy and Daddy could go on a triple date to a really nice restaurant.  I hope they had a good time.  I know I did.  I played with my buckets and turned them into hats.  Grandmamma called me "Bucket Head."  The yellow one makes a nice fez.

Mobley Christmas

I think everyone around me at Christmas dinner was a little sad.  It's their first Christmas without Uncle Ricky.  It was as good as it could be.  Aunt Kathy came from Florida.  Brittany came with Uncle B.  I had lots of fun watching everyone play Clue and Life with Kaitlin.  We even got to stay out really late.  BTW, that's me playing with Grandmother's Christmas Balls that have hung in her living room for well over 30 years.  I'm sure my Mommy did the same when she was little.  Some things just never change.

Christmas Morning

Christmas morning was full of fun.  Santa brought me an exersaucer.  I played with more wrapping paper.  I even got a Retro Rocket to ride.  It was so much fun to get on irt.  I just can't wait to get a little bigger so I cab make it go.

Vernon Family Christmas

I spent Christmas Eve with my Grandpa and Nate.  Sure there were other people there as well, but these were the ones I played with the most.  I got lots of fun toys.

Christmas Eve

I spent lunch with Grammy, Aunt Kathy, and Uncle Dennis.  The shiny wrapping paper was my favorite.

A Nolen Christmas

My first Christmas party was with my Granddaddy's family.  I had lots of fun tearing at the paper and peaking in bags.

I'm 6 months old!

I know it's a late post but I'm now 6 mo old.  I was in the hospital until the day before.  I weighed 15 pounds there.  I think I'm all better now.  Here are some pictures taken for my 6 mo birthday.
