Halloween 2007

I was a firefighter, complete with sprayer, hatchet, and firetruck. We went to a few houses before many people got out then came home to hand out candy to the boys and girls.

Bye Bye Steroids!

We're finally off our month of steroids!  Jack sure did eat like a mad man while on them.  Also, just the steroids themselves will add a few pounds. Believe it or not, he only gained about 4-5 pounds. It's just all in his face and belly.

Haircutting Party

Uncle B came over and gave Jack a "B Haircut." Afterwords, Jack chased us all around the house with the water hose.  He got me good.

3 Months... What a Difference!

Well, it's been over 3 months since I last updated this page. A lot has happened since then. Jack was diagnosed with Pre-B Cell ALL on September 20. He was in Vanderbilt Children's Hospital until October 1. Since then we've been getting chemo, bone marrow exams, and spinal taps as an outpatient.  For the most part it will remain outpatient.

I know that most of you have already seen his other web page which will have daily updates.  However, I'll be keeping this site up as well. I'll try to keep archives of pictures on here. I may also decide to make more private updates here if there is something we don't want the whole world to know.

Universal Studios & Islands of Adventure

I spent the last 2 days of my trip touring the Universal parks.  Thursday I went to Universal Studios where I rode with Jimmy Neutron, met Spongebob, and flew on a bike with ET.  My Mommy & Daddy went on a date so I got to stay in with my Grandmama & Granddaddy for dinner and a movie of my own.

Friday we went to Islands of Adventure.  I played in the water areas so much we had to buy a bathing suit (as if I didn't already own 3).  It rained and rained in the afternoon.  At the end I got to meet all the characters from Seussland.  I was super excited to sit with the Grinch and have talked about it ever since.

Swimming Away in Florida

Went to Cocoa Beach yesterday and had lots of fun playing in the sand.  I didn't like the ocean water very much until later in the day.  Daddy would build sand castles and I would knock them all down.  We even flew a kite!

Today we went to the pool at the timeshare place.  I really loved playing in the pool water since it was calmer than the beach.  My Great-Aunt Kathy came down to visit and swim with me.  She's lots of fun!  Now, we're going to eat.

Dinsey - Yeah!

Had a fantastic day at the Magic Kingdom.  Chef Matt at the Crystal Palace was the nicest of all and made me lots of food just like what everyone else had.  Meeting Tigger was the most fun of all.  I loved running out to meet him, Pooh, Piglet, and Eeyore.  Then I got to ride lots of fun ride, including flying high on a carpet and on Dumbo the elephant.  I was a very sleepy boy by the time we got home and went to bed without even eating dinner.  I wonder what fun we'll have today.

2nd Birthday

Well, my 2nd birthday was a smashing hit!  I had loads of fun with my Spongebob jumper and wondered why those men had to take it away.  The food was yummy and all things I could eat.  Some thought it was too "healthy" and I thought it was just right.

I started swim classes the next day with my Mommy.  We're having so much fun!  The first day I screamed but have been only a little clingy since then. My favorite part is being dunked under water.

Easter and other April Activities

I had a great time this Easter.  I got all dressed up and went to church.  Then I had my very own egg hunt.

Later in the month Daddy had a concert.  It was my first musical event.
