St. Augustine

So the three of us took a trip down to Florida this fall. It was great! The weather was a little cooler than I had wished, but we still got in some time at the beach without being terribly uncomfortable. Actually, once you got in the water it was fine.

We met with Great Aunt Kathy, her friend Jan, Jan's daughter Leslie, and granddaughter Natalie. During two different outings we ate dinner in downtown St. Augustine at Columbia. And we went to Spooktacular at the Jacksonville zoo.

Mr. Freddie gave us the grand tour of his "pirate" ship. Jack liked sitting in the captain's seat at the dinner table and "pretend talking" on the phone.

Labor Day in Gatlinburg

We took a short trip up to Gatlinburg for Labor Day weekend. Jack was on/off with his attitude, though I think it was a little better than the March trip. We did some fishing, shopping, and sightseeing. Mostly, though, we did some resting. Oh, and it's my 32nd birthday. Shhhhh.....

Gatilinburg Vacation

We took Jack's first trip to Gatlinburg from March 14th-16th. Jack was having some ups and downs having just gotten over mucositis. A lot of the trip was spent wanting to go home. But we did get a few smiles in the play area of the Aquarium as well as when we stopped at a roadside creek to do some fishing.

Universal Studios & Islands of Adventure

I spent the last 2 days of my trip touring the Universal parks.  Thursday I went to Universal Studios where I rode with Jimmy Neutron, met Spongebob, and flew on a bike with ET.  My Mommy & Daddy went on a date so I got to stay in with my Grandmama & Granddaddy for dinner and a movie of my own.

Friday we went to Islands of Adventure.  I played in the water areas so much we had to buy a bathing suit (as if I didn't already own 3).  It rained and rained in the afternoon.  At the end I got to meet all the characters from Seussland.  I was super excited to sit with the Grinch and have talked about it ever since.

Swimming Away in Florida

Went to Cocoa Beach yesterday and had lots of fun playing in the sand.  I didn't like the ocean water very much until later in the day.  Daddy would build sand castles and I would knock them all down.  We even flew a kite!

Today we went to the pool at the timeshare place.  I really loved playing in the pool water since it was calmer than the beach.  My Great-Aunt Kathy came down to visit and swim with me.  She's lots of fun!  Now, we're going to eat.

Dinsey - Yeah!

Had a fantastic day at the Magic Kingdom.  Chef Matt at the Crystal Palace was the nicest of all and made me lots of food just like what everyone else had.  Meeting Tigger was the most fun of all.  I loved running out to meet him, Pooh, Piglet, and Eeyore.  Then I got to ride lots of fun ride, including flying high on a carpet and on Dumbo the elephant.  I was a very sleepy boy by the time we got home and went to bed without even eating dinner.  I wonder what fun we'll have today.
